As a graduate of the NM specialty, you will be prepared as a beginning-level provider for those seeking midwifery care as defined by the ACNM Core Competencies for Basic Midwifery Practice. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible to apply for certification through the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). To qualify for entry into the NM Graduate Certificate program, you must have a degree in nursing as an advanced practice nurse. The certificate requires a total of 900 hours of supervised clinical training.
