The purpose of this document is to define the requirements for the development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of the DNP Project. All students seeking a DNP degree must successfully develop, implement, and defend a DNP Project, including all project requirements within the timeframe, prior to graduation.

DNP Committee - Special Member Request

Step 1: Student must first communicate with their DNP Committee Chair and request approval for a special member.

Step 2: Complete and submit the form below to request a special member for a DNP committee. DNP committees can have only one special member. Special members must be doctorly prepared (DNP, PhD, MD, DO, PharmD, etc.). The submitted form will automatically be sent to the College of Nursing Office of Student & Academic Affairs (OSAA) to be routed for review and approval. OSAA will notify students and their DNP Committee Chair of the status of the request for a special member within 10 working days of submission.
