Mothers and Babies Project
We want to help first-time mothers get to know their new babies, and to better understand the hormones that help mothers naturally bond with their babies.
We teach you about infant care and parenting over the first 3 months after birth. You participate in 5 study visits and are compensated for your time –up to $300 total cash.
You may be eligible if you:
- Are expecting your first baby
- Are 18 years or older
- Speak English or Spanish
- Less than 35 weeks pregnant

An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subjects research at The University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable, according to applicable state and federal regulations and University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
