With a long-standing national reputation for excellence, we’re proud to be one of the premier nursing institutions in the country. Employers actively seek out U of A nurses because they know our graduates are highly trained, compassionate, and ready to lead. From your first day on campus to your first job, we’re with you every step of the way.

Two Campuses, One Standard of Excellence

Choose the path that’s right for you. At our Tucson campus, you’ll study at a top-tier research university, learning from nationally recognized faculty and engaging in rigorous coursework combined with exceptional clinical training. You’ll gain experience in real-world settings and benefit from our strong connections with Arizona’s leading hospitals and healthcare systems. It's a comprehensive education focused on the art and science of nursing, tailored for students who want to make an immediate impact on person-centered health.

At our Gilbert campus, you’ll receive the same outstanding nursing education with a focus on Integrative Health. This approach blends evidence-based care with whole-person wellness, addressing mental, physical, and spiritual health. It’s a unique opportunity for students passionate about holistic medicine, wellness, or alternative care methods. We also incorporate nurse self-care into the curriculum, ensuring that you can not only care for others but also practice self-care, helping to ensure your longevity and success in this demanding field. It’s a forward-thinking program aligned with national healthcare trends and patient-centered care.

Whichever program you select, you’ll benefit from personalized faculty support and the full resources of one of the nation’s top public universities. No matter the campus, you’ll graduate prepared to lead with knowledge, confidence, and compassion.

Where Learning Becomes Real Impact

Nursing is hands-on, and so is your education. From day one, you’ll be immersed in guided simulations as well as over 600 hours of direct clinical experience. You'll work in state-of-the-art simulation labs where patients breathe, babies cry, and your decisions truly matter. Our labs replicate actual care environments, including outpatient, hospital, and home health settings, helping you build confidence and clinical judgment across every setting. High-tech learning is combined with personalized feedback through video review and reflective debriefs. Virtual reality experiences immerse you in complex patient care scenarios, providing a 360-degree view of what it means to think, act, and respond like a nurse.

We partner with Arizona’s top healthcare systems to ensure you gain the clinical experience necessary for success. You will train alongside experienced professionals at some of the top hospitals and clinics in the state. We handle your clinical placements, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: developing your skills and providing quality care.

Learn from the Best, Become Your Best.

Many nursing schools can make you feel like just a number, but not here.
