Regulatory Science Series: Direct-to-Consumer Genetic Testing

Anya Prince, JD, MPP, is an Associate Professor of Law and Member of the University of Iowa Genetics Cluster. Professor Prince’s teaching and research interests explore the ethical, legal, and social implications of genomic testing, with particular focus on genetic discrimination and privacy rights, the intersection of clinical and research ethics, and insurance coverage of genetic technologies and interventions. 

Senator Heather Carter is a member of the Arizona Senate serving the constituents of Arizona and Legislative District 15. Senator Carter is the Chairperson of the Higher Education and Workforce Development Committee, Vice Chair of the Health and Human Services Committee and is also a member of the Appropriations Committee.
