Spring Convocation

Dates/Times/Locations for graduation ceremonies:

UA College of Nursing Convocation ceremony will be on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at 2 pm. The location will be Centennial Hall and parking will be provided at Tyndall Garage. (There is a separate student award ceremony on the same day for those students who will be selected for special awards. The selected students will be contacted with an invitation and then all students will be notified of the award selections.)

Parking:

Parking for the College of Nursing Convocation will be available to families for free at Tyndall Garage. Guests will take a parking voucher when arriving to the garage and park normally. Please keep your ticket with you. Present your parking voucher/ticket to the parking garage cashier before you return to your car after the ceremony, letting them know you had just attended the College of Nursing Convocation ceremony. This will validate your parking voucher. In the event that the garage is full, you will have the option of parking at Main Gate Garage. Here is a link to the parking map.

Tickets

Tickets are provided free of charge to guests of the graduates. We have a cap of 10 tickets for each student at this time (you do not need to request 10), but hope to release additional tickets closer to the date of Convocation. Stay tuned for the date/time that local students will be able to pick up the tickets that were previously requested via the RSVP link. For any graduates not in Tucson, we will have tickets available for your guests to pick up outside the front doors of Centennial Hall about 60 minutes before the doors open (1:00 pm) at our will-call table under the graduate’s name.

Special Accommodations for family members includes closed-captioning, and special seating arrangements for guests needing them. If anyone needs to have Cart Services for any family members that are not able to walk from the parking garage to Centennial Hall, they are welcome to call 520-621-6493. Here is a link to their site.
