December Convocation 2018
On December 13 2018, The University of Arizona College of Nursing will honor Wildcat Nurses for completing their rigorous programs, including Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing Clinical Systems Leadership (RN to MSN), 109 Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and three Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD).
The Convocation ceremony will take place on the 13th at 2 pm at Centennial Hall. Parking provided for free to guests at Tyndall Garage – with overflow parking (if necessary) at Sixth Street Garage or Main Gate.
Regalia required of students, and of faculty who wish to process (march) in as a group and sit on stage. Regalia will also required for anyone who has a role in the ceremony (such as pinning, hooding, or speaking). If you will be sitting on stage, please email Tina at cdouglas@email.arizona.edu.
Faculty who wish to sit in the front row of the audience will not need regalia, but will need a ticket to enter Centennial Hall. Please email Tina at cdouglas@email.arizona.edu if you will need a ticket.
Students will be asked to arrive at the East Stage doors at Centennial Hall by 1:30 pm, and faculty are asked to arrive by 1:45 pm. The front doors of Centennial Hall will open at 1 pm for guests to take their seats.
Please note the Security Policy for Centennial Hall: https://centhall.org/visit-us/security-policy/. Please do not bring items back stage. As soon as the ceremony begins, staff will leave the back stage area and will not be able to watch your things while you are on stage. Anything that is found back stage will be brought to the OSAA office and can be picked up the day after graduation.
