Fragile Infants: Evidence-Based Resources to Help Parents and Providers

The NEC-Zero initiative is working to eliminate necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), a terrible life-threatening disease that impacts fragile and at-risk preemies.

In order to build better futures, we are studying ways to prevent necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) in premature babies by implementing best care for every baby. Learn how this diverse team of researchers, clinicians, librarians, & health consumers are addressing the gaps between availability of evidence-based health information and strategies used for offering access to resources as a means to promote risk awareness and prevention.

Who should attend: Librarians (health science, public, & hospital), clinicians, preemie parent organizations and public health professionals.
