Clinical Skills Intensive (CSI)

Clinical Skills Intensive (CSI) is designed to help you develop specialty-specific skills on the University of Arizona Health Sciences campus. Faculty from all our DNP specialties will support the hands-on learning workshops and evaluate essential clinical skills competency. Required Workshop Pre-Readings by Specialty

CSI workshops build on a foundation of pre-existing clinical knowledge to provide an opportunity for comprehensive hands-on learning and develop a beginning level of clinical competency in skills specific to each advanced practice nurse specialty. To prepare for the hands-on workshops you are required to complete the pre-conference readings and any assignments for your specialty. It is important to carefully read the study guides and note the required readings listed.  You are highly encouraged to start your reading and preparation for CSI as early as possible. Contact Dr. Allen Prettyman with questions regarding CSI.
