Audrey Russell-Kibble, DNP, FNP-C, FAANP
Clinical Assistant Professor, The University of Arizona, College of Nursing and Family & Community Medicine
Dr. Russell-Kibble coordinates a faculty practice opportunity for Primary Care NP Faculty at the UA College of Nursing, providing in-home comprehensive health assessments to dual-eligible Medicare/Medicaid members of the University Care Advantage health plan. This faculty practice incorporates a clinical practice opportunity for UA CON FNP students.
She created and implemented a novel clinical practice model that serves multigenerational families in Southern Arizona. Most notably, she actualized a highly successful NP led interprofessional practice that bundled services to complex patients at risk for ED or hospital readmission. She is acclaimed for educating nursing, nurse practitioner, public health, and medical students plus family medicine and psychiatry residents on cultural competency, loss, grief, death, dying, and spirituality.
Dr. Russell-Kibble earned a prestigious joint faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor in The University of Arizona Colleges of Nursing and Medicine. She was inducted as a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2016, received the AANP Foundation NP Doctoral Student Scholarship in 2010, and was named a Tucson Nurse’s Week 2008 Fabulous 50 Nurse.
