As a student at the University of Arizona College of Nursing, you
are part of a Community of Excellence that extends from Tucson around
the globe. The knowledge you will gain and the friends you will make
while you are here will be yours throughout your career.
The College of Nursing has many resources to help you realize your
nursing dreams. Among these are the Patient Care Learning Center
(PCLC), the Instructional Resource Center (IRC), and the University
Libraries. In addition, there are a myriad of support services to
help you with registration, advising, and financial assistance through
the Office of Student Affairs.
Exciting opportunities also are available for you to participate
in cutting edge research while you are still a student. To learn
more about these, go to the Office of Nursing Research. Undergraduate
students may also want to consider the Honors Program.
SNUA is the College of Nursing chapter of the National Student Nurses
Association. SNUA has provided the mechanism for our baccalaureate
students to be change agents at the college, as well as opportunities
to give something back to the community through a variety of community
projects.
All doctoral students are invited to participate actively in the
University of Arizona Doctoral Nursing Association of Students
(DNAs).
