For a POSTER using the College of Nursing template:
(Preferred Method -Walk-in)
Posters may be submitted directly to Biomedical Communications. The graphic artist will design a poster size that best suits your poster content. Typically, poster height will be 36” or 44”, while the length can vary from 6’ to 7’, sometimes to 8’. If you specify a size larger than what would normally be printed, you will be responsible for the difference in cost.
Please Note: To avoid any miscommunication, Biomed Comm prefers that you drop off the poster in person and later, proof the poster in person. Please allow 10-14 days for poster production and printing.
1. Submit the poster (generally a series of PowerPoint slides or a Word Document with graphs or pictures in .bmp, .jpg, .gif, .tif file formats) directly to:

2. Specify that the poster is to be done using the CON template.
3. When filling out the form,
Contact person: your name
Client: Kathryn Bevacqua, CON
Acct: College of Nursing , Teaching
This account is for faculty and students who are preparing a poster to be used for the purposes of instruction. (If the poster is a result of a research grant, then grant money should be used to pay for the poster.)
4. Biomed Comm will notify you when the poster is ready and they have a copy for you to proof. If you are in the local area, you should go to Biomed Comm to proof the hard copy. If you are out of the area, they will email you a copy to proof.

Make sure the subject line reads: Create a Poster for College of Nursing
Note in the email:
Account: College of Nursing , Teaching
Client: Kathryn Bevacqua, Nursing

2. In your email, designate a CONTACT person by name, phone number, and email address. The CONTACT person is generally the person who submitted the poster. Biomed Comm will fill out the necessary paperwork.
3. Biomed Comm will notify you when the poster is ready and they have a copy for you to proof. If you are in the area, you should go to Biomed Comm and proof the hard copy (sometimes emails will change fonts). If you are out of the area, the poster will be emailed back to the CONTACT person as a PDF file.
4. The CONTACT person should print out the file and review it carefully. Make any changes directly on the poster and fax it back. It is important that all changes be made in writing.
