Faculty Practice

Leadership Roles in Health Care

Performing innovative and creative nursing services, College of Nursing faculty members serve the public interest in educational, research, scholarship, and service roles.

Faculty practice assumes different forms depending on the faculty member's interests, skills, and experience. The benefits are many and widespread when faculty members perform leadership, service, or consultation activities.

For example:

Faculty members maintain current practice and keep up national professional credentials.

Students gain when faculty integrate current clinical knowledge and practice standards into the classroom.
