Traditional BSN Admission Requirements*
Nursing prerequisites completed with a grade of C or better.
A pre-nursing prerequisite course work grade-point average of at least 2.75.
A cumulative grade-point-average for all college and university course work of at least 2.75.
A personal statement describing, in 250 words or less, what you, as a student, will bring to our college community.
Basic computer knowledge.
*Please note that admission to the traditional BSN program is highly competitive and the above requirements are the minimum required to apply.
Application Checklist
Be admitted to the University of Arizona as a degree-seeking student, pre-nursing major. UA admission information, such as deadlines, applications, and detailed instructions, is available online or by calling the Office of Admissions and New Student Enrollment at 520-621-3237. Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
Attend an information session at the College of Nursing. At the one-hour session, an advisor will cover the pre-nursing and nursing curriculum and the application process and will answer any questions you might have.
Apply for admission to the College of Nursing BSN program through the online application form.

Application deadlines for traditional program
February 1 for admission the following fall semester. All prerequisite courses must be complete by June 1.
